Marking (Radial) Menu

This section covers installation of Marking Menu.

• Please visit the Gumroad's content page. (It is the page where you download the tool files.)

• Expand the "Misc" section, and download "menu_XGTC_interactiveCurve.mel"

• Place "menu_XGTC_interactiveCurve.mel" in your Documents/maya/version/prefs/markingMenus folder.

• Restart your Maya, and go to Windows -> Settings/Preferences -> Marking Menu Editor

• If you get a prompt to load XGTC_interactiveCurve menu, please click "Yes"

• In the Marking Menus Editor, highlight the XGTC_interactiveCurve, and set "Use marking menu in: " to 'Hotkey Editor'

• Click on Apply Settings and close this window

• Now go to Windows -> Settings/Preferences -> Hotkey Editor

• In the Search by field, enter "XGTC"

• Assign a hotkey for the menu

• Click on Save and Close

• You now will have a marking menu using your assigned hot key.

In order to use the Marking Menu, you will need to have the Interactive Curve Tools UI open
