## Overview

The Curve to Proxy Managers were originally created for generating 'proxies' after completing a groom in Maya (XGen). These proxies are useful for animation, rigging, and simulation. While not intended for building geometries for groom guides, some users have adapted the tools for various hybrid workflows.

As of V15.04.01, all our older proxy tools are now merged into a single button. Please right-click to access them

Before using, proxy managers requires the component tags to be used for deformation.\
Please go to Preferences -> Settings -> Animation and ensure that you turn on **both**:

* Use component tags for deformation component sublets
* Create component tags on deformer creation
