## Working From Older Files

* If you have a file that was created with V14.03 (our latest release), you may encounter this warning. That's because the latest Hair Tube Builder added a few more attributes to the strand curves, and without them, some of the new features will not work.

* If you know your file was built with V14.03 Groomer's Tool, you can update it by going to **Menu-> Update V14.03 Scene to current.** Then re-select the strands and if you see the attributes show up in the Strand Editor, that means the file has been successfully updated.

* If the file was built before V13.06, you will have to update it by clicking:
  * **Update V13.06 to V14.03 FIRST**,&#x20;
  * and then click on **Update V14.03 Scene to current**
* **Please Do NOT save an library item using older files.**
