* To make UV manipulation easier—or simply based on your preference—you can now toggle between **Curve Mode** (default) and **Geometry Mode**.
* In **Geometry Mode**, the strands are converted to geometry, allowing you to view and edit their **UVs directly in Maya's UV Editor**.

Note: While in Geometry Mode, there are a few limitations—for example, you won’t be able to move a strand to another layer,  draw with the PFX tool, or add strands to a library. However, you can still use the **Strand Editor** and adjust all strand attributes as usual.&#x20;

* All the secondary functions from the main UI will still work when in geometry mode
