To make UV manipulation easier—or simply based on your preference—you can now toggle between Curve Mode (default) and Geometry Mode.
In Geometry Mode, the strands are converted to geometry, allowing you to view and edit their UVs directly in Maya's UV Editor.
Note: While in Geometry Mode, there are a few limitations—for example, you won’t be able to move a strand to another layer, draw with the PFX tool, or add strands to a library. However, you can still use the Strand Editor and adjust all strand attributes as usual.
All the secondary functions from the main UI will still work when in geometry mode
