Path Curve / Scale
The Braid / Curl Builder, unlike our previous version (Braid / Curl Manager), is not a dynamic system. Meaning, if there's any change in length of the path curve, the braid will not adjust its scale/knot frequency. We should take extra cautions to the scale, and how it can affect the look of our braids.
There are two scale variables that comes in play when creating the braid/curl strands. Path Curve Length and Scene Scale.
Path Curve Length
The tool automatically calculates the corresponding scale, knot frequency, tube size, and samples based on the path curve length ON Create, or On Preset Changes.
This means that when you first create a braid, it uses the length of the selected curve,
On fresh create, curves with length difference will preserve the overall braid look, keeping the scale, and the knot frequency as uniform as possible.

On Preset change, the braid will try to preserve the stored settings, keeping the look as close as possible even though the length are different.

Scene Scale
There's also a scene setting that you can use to change the overall scale of the braid creation. Though the flexibility, it is best practice to keep the Scene Scale at 1.00 and work on your braid in this scale to avoid any issues.
On the Braid/Curl Builder Main Menu -> Scene Presets

Changing the Scene Scale Multiplier will have an effect on the scale, knot frequency, tube size, and sample settings on Creation. It's to be used if you are not working in standard world scale.
Path Curve Transforms
The path curve transform plays a role in how the braid is created. Scaling a curve and freezing the transform can result in changes in the look of your braid/curls.
To solve this issue, in future update, there will be a 'Calibrate' button to ensure the parameters stays true to current curve scale.
If you scale a path curve, and freeze transformation, you may notice a pop when sliders are changed.
